I've wanted a lizard for 7 years, finally my mom let me get one. First we got a long tail lizard, sadly died of a heart attack or so. Then we got my leopard gecko! And im very pleased with her! She is now my best friend, and is amazing to the family!! We love her very much and wish she was a giant teddy bear so we could hug and squeeze her without hurting her (Sadly we can't lol). Lizards are amazing! And I would toads get more in the future. :)

Luke Luther Hey, thanks! Well most of my videos go more indepth about certain aspects of looking after a gecko. I think if i did all those things the video would be so long :')  but i did do a basic guide, its really old now, and i did a setup for under £35 and one for under £80, that has a list on things to buy :) hope they help!

Hi, no problem :) glad you liked it.
Some people do use paper towel/newspaper, I used paper towel for my youngest gecko, until he was approx. 2 months old, then I added eco earth. I would suggest crickets, they may require a little more attention than mealworms, but they are much more beneficial for your geckos.

Excellent videos. I usually do tons of research BEFORE getting a pet, but I saw him, and loved him instantly.
Now I am doing LOTS of research because I bought him. The pet shop only gave me partial information.
I appreciate your videos a lot. I can tell you really care for them. I think that's an important thing to look for in animal Care videos and literature. Obviously I will look at other sources of information as well, but I appreciate the indepth break down of how you care for your Leopard geckos.

I got my gecko a couple of weeks back She´s called Lilly and she apparently loves small cramped spaces :D I created a couple of hides for he, but she just mostly hides in a crack at the top of the back wall :D Also, about the crickets, for water I give them a little bottle cup filled with cotton-wool that is wet - they cant drow, and they drink from it. and for food, appart from fruits, I give them stuff that I mix, its basically powdered milk and crushed biscuits (the non sugary ones) mixed 1:1 they seem to like it, and it doesnt rot, so I can keep it there for longer if I go on holiday.

Hello, Yes they can live in them their whole lives, however one of my geckos got too big for it, that's why I bought him a viv, so if you buy a gecko from a breeder, it'll be a good idea to ask how big it's parents are.
I use a 6 X 11" heat mat (7 watts).

Hi,
We got Oscar 2 weeks ago and he is a sweet delicate Gecko.He gets out at 6:20 and waits outside his cave. My son is taking him out gently and he seems to get used to it. He has a heat mat under his cave and although we live in a hot country, we put the heat on and it gets 26C.
Your videos help a lot and we are watching them and admire you from afar.

I think I was your age when I first wanted one, annoyingly my parents made me wait another three years until I was allowed one. However it did make one more, and gave me time to save up all the money and really read up about them. I don't think you're too young though.

They almost said yes to the leopard gecko but then they realized that it lives for 20 years and they said that that was two much and i can get my own when I live alone. My mom is maybe considering getting me an anole but my dad keeps on saying no lizards but well see. I will also only get one if we get a new house because our house is really small. So maybe in a few years :)
