He did also disagree with her when they were discussing how to bring Usopp back after he left. Matter of fact, not only did Sanji not take Nami's side, but he took Zoro's! Which ultimately was the correct choice in that situation.

Technically, Sanji once sided with Zoro over Nami about letting Usopp back into the crew.

Just to point it out Sanji know's Nami is manipulative and uses him but he's doing things for her because he want's to, he CHOSE to be a simp! However in some occations Sanji may disagree with women aswell and he would be polite disagreeing. It's a normal thing that can happen, after all he have his own will and opinions don't he? Sanji have disagreed with Nami before, it's only rare because most of the time Nami is right. I don't understand how some people think he would do anything Nami tells him to like he were some kind of mindless robot only becasue he's a simp.

Sanji in this case knew there were no need to take back Luffy because 1. getting back Luffy would be a pain in the butt and 2. Luffy can handle himself, he were in no danger and will find his way back to the Sunny. Telling Nami to care more about the ship is him telling her not to stress herself up over Luffy's antics, simply telling her that it's better to leave him alone since we all know he aint listening, why even bother. At this point all the crewmembers are tired of keeping track of Luffy.

Sanji was not irritated at Nami he just feel uneasy around Luffy. Remember that this is right after WHI arc and I believe Sanji were feeling guilty for what he did. He just did not want to be on Luffy's high horse, perhaps he were being worried about how Luffy might view him as or the opposite, SSanji wondering why Luffy had forgiven him and don't hate him.

Remember when Sanji was more upset over Luffy calling some other dude’s food tasty than Nami being hit on by some other guy?




This proves that Sanji will always prioritize Luffy eating his meat above all else.

I was caught off guard when Sanji disobeyed Nami too. I at first thought maybe he had finally come to terms with the fact that Nami was just manipulating him, but than figured he was more concerned about keeping the two female members of the Straw Hat crew safe.

This isn't the first time Sanji disobeyed Nami.
-After Enies Lobby, when Nami tried to argue with Zoro about letting Usopp rejoin the group, Sanji held her back and agreed with Zoro.
-On Skypiea, when Nami advised not to built a giant campfire in Upper Yard, Sanji and Zoro immediately built one for Luffy.
-On Alabasta, When Nami tried to argue against Luffy after he confronted Vivi with the possibility of innocents dying, Sanji held her back to let Luffy finish.

Pre-timeskip, when Chopper had just joined the StrawHats, Luffy got caught by a bird. Chopper was panicking, but the rest of the guys knew Capt. Luffy would be fine. He'd figure something out.

In this case i think he wanted to protect the ship and the crew coz zoro is also not there ...both zoro and sanji's priority is always to protect the crew when luffy is not there
