The MMB Max 5.0 is a significant improvement over previous versions, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6225 (680) CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It runs on Android 13 and offers a refined user interface with smoother performance. It supports both CarPlay and Android Auto seamlessly, with improved resolution and faster navigation. The adapter now includes dual Bluetooth support and better gaming capabilities, though it may not match the very high-end AI boxes in performance. The overall experience is positive, albeit very close to the same spec AI boxes, but its design, speed, user interface and general performance are certainly much-needed improvements to see the MMB Max compete against its rivals.

I was watching your review of the MMB AI box for the Mazda CX-9, and after seeing your video, I decided to buy the exact same model you reviewed. I tested it in my 2019 Mazda CX-9, and overall, it works well. However, I’ve encountered an issue with audio synchronization when watching YouTube. Specifically, the audio doesn’t seem to sync up with the video—the person on screen is talking, but there’s a slight delay in the audio that comes about a second after their mouth moves.

I’ve tried using both my mobile phone and the 5G SIM card in the AI box to ensure that I have a stable connection, but unfortunately, the problem persists regardless of which method I use.

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue, or do you know if this is a common problem with this box?

Google maps - No first person view (3D) in explore mode. when I turn on navigation to the destination, the 3D view works normally.

When i have split screen Google maps and Spotify then I only hear Spotify music and I don't hear any navigation messages :/

Bought one, but sometimes it starts a restart loop and this doesn’t stop until next time I start the vehicle. Also it is not related to heating as the first time used it I’ve traveled couple of hours and I’ve been using it the whole time, but from the second day it started restarting on random.

There is always a problem with data transfer over interet, always lag. I used iptv, and always buffering 🤦. I am connected via hotspot.

Thank you for all of your reviews. I ended up picking up a Carinlink Plus box and am mostly pleased with the box but have a problem that most likely can't be fixed. My Corolla doesn't support Android Auto so I ended up finding these boxes as a fix. My problem is that I drive a lot and use two devices. My phone is used for calls and work. I use a tablet to listen to music. On my radio I have the phone set to connect as a phone and my tablet set to audio. This has been good but I'm missing the map on the display. Is there a box that will allow me to connect my phone for Android Auto or at least for calls and use the Google map on the device and connect my tablet for music?

I recently bought this item and have issues with hotspot. I keep getting a message on the CarPlay said IP configuration failure. It keeps trying to connect and nothing happens. Can anyone help with this?
Also it doesn’t seem to be accepting the SIM card. I put the SIM card in the same way you put them into iPhones.

I've been through quite a few of your videos and still haven't found anything that'll play both AA and Apple Carplay. Currently my connection is wired only, I'm simply looking for a decent wireless option that can do both AA and Apple Carplay. Any suggestions?
