Another one complete! Apologies for the light glitches at the beginning—I’m still troubleshooting the cause. Despite the challenges, this project was a lot of fun to create.

Hey everyone!

Even though I initially announced there wouldn’t be any new animations until late November, I ended up creating another one. This project came with its fair share of challenges—lots of reanimation and re-rendering—and there are still a few details I’m not entirely happy with. That said, I think it’s good enough to share! Some issues, like the glitching lights in the second space scene, remain unresolved, as I couldn’t figure out the cause. Still, I hope you enjoy it!

I always liked that the Excelsior losing power sounded like my 81 Impala when it ran out of gas.

The Enterprise refit Connie has got to be the most BEAUTIFUL space ship model ever created. Absolutely gorgeous from all angles. Love this ship with all my heart. And James Horner's music is just the icing on the proverbial cake.

I'm kind of amazed that 25 year old Lightwave mesh is still being used.

Great work. Congratulations!

Two of the finest looking starships Starfleet has ever made. Great work!

Shatner does this great job with his reaction when he gets warned about not sitting in the captain’s chair. Just a quick pause and then he orders warp speed. Very subtle and nicely underplayed.

"Kirk, you do this, you'll never sit in the captains chair again"
"See ya later shitbrick, warp speed Mr. Sulu"

Always love a new take on "Stealing the Enterprise"

I love the build in tension as the ship approaches the doors in the music. The holding of the breaths as the wait for confirmation of clearing the doors. And the shift in the music as the Enterprise leaves space dock.

Cant say no to this video. The Score of this scene gets me every time.

Seeing this scene without the green-screen outline is such a treat. Even the digital remaster did not fix that.
Excellent work, Kudos and respect to you. Your insertions are invisible and seemless.

You even fixed the dead-stop that the Excelsior experienced, and allowed her to continue to float forward when the engines fail...Spaceships with forward velocity don't just "stop" in space, and so that scene always bothered me. REALLY good attention to detail!

My favorite scene in all the movies with TOS cast (closely followed by TWOK Mutara nebula scenes, I think). So nice to see it this way.

It ships have weight, beauty and looks in some places like there is a matte line. Absolutely stunning.
The light that catches the nacelles when it reverses out the doors. The interior fog and glow are delicious and film quality. Brilliant

I remember when I saw it in the theaters and I was amazed how great this seen was and the music was the icing 🧁 on the cake

Very nicely done! This is the best musically-scored scene in Star Trek history in my opinion. Horner's score is a force multiplier. Cant imagine with any other composer.

Beautifully done! I loved the shot from inside the dock when you see the Enterprise turning outside the doors

RIP James Doohan (Scotty), Jackson DeForest Kelley (Dr. McCoy), James B. Sikking (Captain Styles) and Miguel Ferrer (Excelsior Helmsman).
May we never forget them in the 40th anniversary year of the 3rd Star Trek original series movie.

Two things:
1) Great job! Love how the deflector dish conveys the ship's overall health and status. The CGI looked great and did not distract the viewer. Nice movement and camera angles.
2) This just reminds any objective viewer how much better Star Trek was back in the day when compared to the absolute drivel they are making today!!!

2:35 may I remind you captain regulations require thrusters ONLY while in space dock....

One of my all-time favorites ST lines…0:45 ”Gentlemen, may the wind be at our backs.”

Nice work on the SFX. Love the bright lighting and ship detail inside Spacedock. And the 1:57 wide angle shot of Enterprise backing out.
