When the profit walks out the door these things happen 👍

I feel bad for the lawful people who used this store. Shame on Kim Fox and letting criminals go after stealing the food.

Aldi stores are expanding everywhere. They are good.

It's always in the Black community that they close the healthy restaurants. But a new liquor store opens every 3 months and nothing happens

It doesn’t take a genius to figure this out. It’s an under performing store and it doesn’t have growth potential. I know this may come as a shock but if you take how many square feet are in that store and how many dollars each square foot produces, you can figure out where it’s going. Somethings they may not be telling you is the theft rate in a store like that. Performance counts, Walmart is closing some stores in various parts of Pennsylvania and the answer is they are under performing. Any new grocery store coming into that area is going to face the same issues.

why didn't you state why it's closing ?

They should’ve placed a Whole Foods 365 market there instead, probably would’ve been a better fit for that community. Best wishes to them all.

2022 is so sad. Englewood is such a food desert.

As long as we got Aldi that whole foods can turn into a Pete's Produce or Jewels

They do need to stop building suburban style shopping in Chicago and build more pedestrian friendly "up to the sidewalk" stores. Like back on the 1920's. Chicago has become to car dependent in the last few years.

How is the food from Whole Foods any healthier? It's just a gimmick.

Drinking 40s smoking weed cost a lot too, but some people just prioritize the wrong things.

I love how the interview someone who doesn't shop there. Whole foods is called whole paycheck in my house we only get what we can't get elsewhere

This almost feels like a Chappelle show skit, with that lady saying it's going be hard and she doesn't shop there. Then the woman at then end saying they should get a Trader's Joe which is just as expensive as Whole Foods and the lady recommends a Food for less which is cheaper. 😆

How can anyone who lives in Englewood afford Whole Foods, is my question.

Whenever I go to Sacramento to visit my brother, I always go to Winco. There are several locations in SoCal, I think another one would be great for this neighborhood if there isn’t one close by already.
