Smoke test on Ford Focus 2.0 Zetec 2003 model

Had a problem with a hissing noise coming from the engine after it was turned off which only lasted about 15 seconds max which made it hard to pin point until setting the smoke machine up and testing the vacuum system you can clearly see the pipe coming from the back of inlet manifold leaking (ignore smoke from crank case breather) It seems that the movement of the engine has worn the inners of the pipe due to the pipe being a hard plastic with very little give

What those places smoke is coming out of. Would that cause it to run poor with maf plugged in?
