Iodine isn't an anti caking agent, it is added to salt to help prevent iodine defficiencies. If you switch to a "raw" salt, make sure you take iodine some other way!

I have been adding 2 pinches of Celtic sea salt to my home made pre workout drink for a decade now. Love it!

Iodine is actually important for the Thyroid gland.

Irony is that Celtic sea salt is HIGH IN LEAD, a heavy metal you definitely don’t want to have excess in your body.

If I took everyone of Bobbys tips to heart my grocery bill would more than double.

Iodine is an essential mineral necessary for thyroid function, rarely found in natural sources. Thats why its commonly added to salt, an ingredient you generally use daily. Packages of natural salt come with warnings noting they lack iodine, be aware youll need to buy yet another ingredient to make up for this.

It would be helpful if you could be more specific about when to use pink Himalayan salt, kosher salt, and Celtic sea salt. Which one should I use to flavor meat before cooking? Which one do I used in eggs? Which one should I use in marinades and dressings? Is one better to use than others depending on what you are cooking? Which salt is best for baking?

Love your channel! I have been watching for several years. I have moved towards a non toxic household and clean eating thanks to you! The information you provide is soooo helpful! Thank you for providing this content! Keep up the fantabulous channel!

Iodine comes in foods we SHOULD be eating every day. Eggs, dairy, fish and seafood in general, chicken even, beef liver. Or just take a high quality multivitamin with iron + iodine.

Even though he speaks the truth to some degree I truly believe he is doing commercial content as well, so keep that in mind when deciding.

~Pink Himalayan Salt from Pakistan is in the top two best salts to buy, the other best one is >>Redmond Real Salt from Utah, USA<<. They are both from dry-land “ancient” sea-beds.
~Try to stay away from and do not use “sea salt” that has “recently” been evaporated from ocean sea water because of micro-plastics and “modern day” ocean pollutants and contaminants.

I use Redmond Real Salt products almost exclusively and have for a few years now. It is from Utah from an ancient mine.

I bought mine a while back, and I still have some and they were loads of it at Whole Foods. I love Celtic salt.

It's Celtic sea salt and it apparently shows on the package that it's being harvested by an Asian man NOT perhaps a Leprechaun or anyone who can pass for being Celtic.

Iodine is important and lacking in most diets without it in salt.

Can you do a video explaining about the pink Himalayan salt? I would love to know what to look for.
