UPDATE MAY 2022 - Lots of folks asking if this works with Eternabond tape. I had a viewer try this and report back. Flex Seal and Eternabond Tape will NOT adhere to one another. So if you are looking to use flex seal WITH Eternabond, sounds like it's a bad idea.

I'll take "collects dirt" over "leaks like a sieve" any day :)

Used that stuff on my class B camper van over a year ago. Same results. Nothing seems to stick to it & it stays water proof. I left the van parked under a tree for about 6 months & it gathered the usual tree debris & bird droppings even bird droppings from those that fed on mulberry fruit which normally leaves a purple stain on things. Leaf & mulberry stains cleaned as easily as did the roof in this video.

Don’t worry about negative comments. First of all I saw your videos and have a 2004 18 ft trailer that had the roof redone. Once I realized it was faded, I pressure washed the roof, scrapped excess old “roof” off and silicon sealed the big edges.
We did 2 coats of flex seal and came out like your video.
Month later I’m on vacation here on the Oregon coast with this trailer, poured rain all last night and today. Took a look at the roof and all is great! No leaks no issues. Thanks to your video!
I will be taking care of this trailer and just wanted to say thanks!

You just made my day. I just finished resealing the entire roof on my 21 foot 1993 5th wheel camper with Flex Seal. Hearing about your success is great news. Thanks you.

Thanks for the update video. I sealed my pop-up roof with this stuff this morning. Used a roller to spread it out because I'm afraid of getting on a 23 year old roof.

Did the roof of my RV 3 yrs ago. Haven't had a leek since. I repaired hail Stone damage on the ceiling vent domes. I used a sheer blue fabric and clear Flex Seal (about 5 coats over the fabric and 1under). Now we have a soft blue glow and hail bounces off. Love all the Flex Seal products.💙

About to do this to my 5TH-wheel. Btw Dawn dish soap strips all wax products on all surfaces like painted vehicles especially! Use Turtle Wax Soap which provides protection on all surfaces like paint, gel coat and anything coated with Flex Seal. Thank you for the video!!

I had one of those plastic birdbaths that got a fine crack in it because I left it outside all winter. I needed to find something bird safe to repair it, and the Flex seal seemed the thing. Painted a layer in the bottom half of the bath with a cheap sponge brush, let it dry overnite, and worked beautifully. Held water for the birds with no leaking!

We sealed ours with Flex seal 2 years ago and no leaks and yes it does gets dirtier that the original liner. But the inside of the camper stays cooler in hot weather and when we check the seals every year my wife does this, she is much lighter than me.
The original roof used to get superhot but with the flex seal she can sit or walk without feeling the heat being absorbed into the roof like it used to do.
We really like it.

I have had Flex Seal on my RV Roof for 4 years, with no problems so far, and how I clean mine is a Pressure Washer on low setting, and it works great!

i used it to fill in any voids around my chimney stack flashing on the roof in northern illinois, since 2013, no leaks. the squirrels pulled up the silicone, not the flex seal

I did a roof quite a few years ago, it fid start to peel off recently, but all in it was a great thing to do, and once it starts coming off it peeled off easy so I could recoat it However the part you coated isn't where leaks happen, they happen at the joints, that would be where roof transitions to side metal or fiberglass, and that is because of expansion and contraction

I really didn't want to redo the whole roof on my travel trailer even though its still in decent condition. I thought of building a lean to roof over it to protect it as I'm using it as a chicken coop and it will sit for a long time. So glad others have already done this because I was thinking of just using flex seal paint and just seal it all up. Thanks!
