Is God Narcissistic for wanting all the GLORY?

I had this same thought a couple days ago. God is always having perfect timing

I mean, He did create literally EVERYTHING. From the elements on the periodic table, to the simple adaptations of animals, to light's substance, the stars, electronegativity, photosynthesis, gravity, matter, and the list goes on. When someone creates something out of nothing, then maybe they can brag a bit.

Let's not forget that despite being God, He become a human to serve us and die for us, so no, God is not narcisistic.

And to all of what that guy said, I'd say, "So? Ok? Your point?" God has EVERY RIGHT to desire for us to glorify HIM. He is RIGHTEOUS, He is HOLY, and He is DESERVING OF OUR PRAISE.

Narcissistic to want lory when you've done nothing to deserve it, but well, when you have done something to deserve it it turns from narcissistic to deserved and good.

His praise is 100% deserved, but not owed.
He shouldn't have to threaten people in order to get praise, and he shouldn't punish people for not praising him.

When He is the Source of all things and the Only Redeemer man has..and the Only Truth that will destroy all lies of the enemy meant to steal, kill, and destroy....then He is entitled to the glory He is due.

I agree. Here is my take on it:

God does all things for His glory because He can do none else. There are three reasons for this:
One, since God created everything and nothing exists apart from Him, then what is there to base His decisions on besides Himself. Otherwise, you will be saying that God based His decisions off of His creation -- but wait -- if He hasn't created them yet how can He base His decisions on them? That would be logically impossible. God must base His decisions on Himself because there is nothing else apart from Him.

Two, since God's unchanging character is the standard for good -- God Himself is the definition of good -- if He was to base His decisions on something other than Himself, then He would be glorifying evil as evil is the absence of good -- the absence of God. He would be glorifying evil as a result. On the other hand, if He glorified Himself, He is glorifying good.

Three, since we are made in God's image and in His likeness and to be a reflection of Himself and His glory, if He did not put Himself first, then what would happen to us? To glorify Himself is to glorify us and to take care of us. If God was to neglect Himself and His glory, we would be neglected as well and we would starve.

If God wanted to give us the best gift, the best gift is Himself. His glory is to our benefit because to Him is all the glory in reality.

Assigning glory elsewhere is fictional.

God wants us to recognize him and understand that he is real. For many humans, it’s a “Seeing is believing”. If not for God saying/commanding these things, we would ignore him. And we also have to respect the one who gave us life and saved our lives as well

It seriously saddens me and makes me cringe every time puny humans equate themselves to GOD or vice versa! It shows how low their view of GOD is, and how high their view of themselves is… Absolutely twisted!
