it should be said how this technique was invented by Fritz Perls in gestalt psychotherapy. it is true that the dialogue addressed to someone or a part of the self (critic part or any other instance) makes the experience emotionally significant and therefore allows access to the energy of the organism and a better reconfiguration of the experience
