My cat goes crazy at night between 9-10 sometimes later and it can last for a while, i'm glad I watched this video. We live in an apartment and I don't want any complaints so I will come up with a routine and see how that works.

There are two « zoomies »per day in my household and my cat does them at very specific times : every morning after eating her breakfast and every evening after her evening meal! It only lasts 2-3 minutes. After the evening zoomy she always wants to engage in play so that’s what we do! We play around 3 times a day, alternating different activities. She only appears to like me, she can’t stand my daughter and she hates men. She literally follows me everywhere and sits and watches everything I do. I’m wondering if she is so attached to me because I found her abandoned? I took her straight to the vets, she was a tiny kitten with ticks all over her. We have never parted since😍. She seems to see me literally as her mother and we have a very special bond. She is so loyal it’s unbelievable. She is seven now and only eats a veterinary diet because of her allergies. I hope she will be here for many more years to come !!

Ive got a 4/5 month old male and he goes nuts. He hops around on his back legs he bounces on all fours and runs around like time itself is running out and sometimes he wikl make thus growling noise hes also aggressive when it comes to play/petting he will be purring but he still hurts hes so explosive when it comes to his energy outbursts then he has the tiniest meow ive ever heard from a cat.

I've called it the post-poop run, or escaping the litterbox demon. Good to know the proper name for it now though!

If the litterbox isn't involved, I've always called it the 3am crazies, as it always seems to happen around 3a, or after treats (just typing that word - made them look at me!) Haha!
