They just attacked the weakest spot of the line.
Great strategic move, helped by allied blunders.

As soon as organised, the allies steamrolled them.

this guy is on a total loony go even with all the fuel in the world the Germans would of never been able to push the allies back as far as he seems to think. Fact of the mater is The Germans are at best producing 1-2 tiger 2's per day shipping the tank and a few parts for spare to the front. The allies able to Replace a knocked out M4 every 24 h with a new tank. Each tank comes with 2-4 of every major component on the tank so a knocked out tank can generaly be repaired in 24-38 hours this means a tank loss one day will get replaced with a new tank the next day and a day after that the original dead tank is also right back on the front. the average Armored Division was able to field a brand new squad every 3-5 day's not including the upkeep on the original squads.

Rundstedt knew it and didnt give signature under order of Ardens ofensive.
