It’s sad to see that even 200k is now a crazy number. That should be the minimum

The funniest part of the 1st one isn’t that there is no such thing as a 2014 6.4. It’s that the guy said thank you and his reply was “you too”

The low numbers blow my mind, but ig all the higher milage vehicles are owned by people that fix them themselves .

There is no such thing as a 2014 6.4 😭 was it a 2014 6.7 or a 08-10 6.4

Mine was a 1997 Buick LeSabre with a 3.8L V6 that had 820k miles the last time I ever saw it. Guy drove from the Dakotas to Arizona weekly for his job. Got full synthetic oil changes every other week.

the highest mileage car I have ever driven is still alive. it is a 1992 Volvo 940 estate and it had just over 1 100 000km on the odometer back in 2017

1976 Chevy Malibu the odometer had turned over 13 times, the motor had never been rebuilt the transmission had been rebuilt twice the odometer on those go up to 99, 999 and then they turn back to zero, the owner had it serviced every time at 99, 500 at GM so he had documentation of it, that makes it 1, 300, 000 and i own the motor after the rest of the car was sold off for parts in 2010.
It is a two-barrel 2-bolt main 350 and the sludge that was built up in the motor was around 3 inches thick from only running Pennzoil for all of those years but it still kept running it was obviously getting oil to where it needed it.

200k highest mileage? That's an average day for me. I got a Taurus last week with 315k on it, about a month ago I did a whole bunch of work on a 414k mile silverado. 400k is fairly rare, but 300k is once a week where im at. hell, i got 3 cars with over 190k miles on them. 06 charger with 194k, 08 yaris with 199k, and 06 300 with 247k, all run pretty great ngl.

I was a BMW technician. I saw a 2005 (I think) 750i with 725k on it. Serviced at our dealership since it was brand new.

Diesel fleet mechanic and easily trucks over 600k in California it's a honor to do the 500k transmission service on them they keep chugging but we have to send them out of state after a certain amount of years. I haven't encountered anything over 800k that I remember but I don't doubt I've touched a 700k note none of these are older than 2011

Yeh I understand traveling and ppl fixing there own cars so it doesn't blow my mind about all of the variances, but to put things into perspective. I got an 2007 minivan just 3 months shy of 3 years ago and drive ONLY to and from work, and just now reached 8k miles of my own driving. And she was and still is under 200k

My '04 Silverado has 350k, I also have a '07 Tahoe that has at least 435k, I bought it thinking it "only" had 280k at the time, but carfax shows milage continuely climbing up to 375k by 2013, then the next entry 8 years later it was back down to 230k, so I have no idea of the actual milage in between, but its been pretty flawless for the past 10k+ miles
