I was there for the longest time....and because of the coloring of my thumbnail; I didn't see the three dots. I was dragging it everywhere, but it kept magically lol reappearing. It worked out fine, since watching your video.

Recently I had the issue with a newly uploaded video - that nothing would appear or happen when I clicked on the custom thumbnail block to add my thumbnail. Just nothing would happen except for a greyed-out plus sign would appear, no dot menu. Discovered that the only way to add a new thumbnail was by drag & drop. Hope this helps.

Worked well on replacing the first thumbnail. The remaining thumbnails don't seem to have the small 'options' select. Can I change them all with just checking the 'options' on the first thumbnail ?? Thanks a bunch for your time !!

Good and efficient video. My question is how to change the short auto play video which is randomly provided by YT, when you hover over the the thumbnail. This is getting more and more important, since many viewers are deciding by the auto play content, yet YT choose some random footage which is usually not what I like to see. Is there a solution for this one?
