Thanks for the video mike, and thanks to our friend Jake for sharing his build! but you forgot mentioning the fact that his board is quicker than commercial jetboards! I can't help but wonder which motor is he using? How big is the impeller?

I have zero engineering skills, ngl, but this video is motivating me to try something..lol. Might just jump in and build my own board, who knows!

Very cool video. I was about to follow down this path and due to timing, decided to go for a Waydoo One. No regrets! But it's always so cool to build it yourself. In Europe the batteries tend to be the biggest pain.

Is that a TP100 motor on the Jetboard?

Hey Mike, I've already ordered the flier 800A as Jake mentioned in the review, 40Ah 14s lipo which are enormous, I'm currently working on a jet kayak, I'm interested in a power system about the size/power range of Jake's surfboard, I could 3D print a few missing parts for the jet, (seadoo pump) I'm about to order a motor today, need your advice on which type of motor I should get, sadly I fried several motors in the past, including the over-priced MHZ 7455, I would really appreciate some details about his motor, thanks!
