THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEDIATORS AND ATTORNEYS

Показать описание
What's the difference between mediators and attorneys?
Although they often work hand in hand, they require different pieces of training and certification for each.
Attorneys also typically represent 1 client, whereas Mediators are able to represent both parties. In a divorce, a divorce attorney will represent either the husband or the wife, not both. A divorce mediator represents both to help the couple get through their issues and figure out life after divorce. A mediator is neutral and NOT there for legal advice, but for the process of problem-solving.
What do you think would be better for your situation- a mediator or an attorney?
