Bit of a correction: Its inspired by NORDIC folklore. They do seem to be using alot of Swedish letters but they have taken a general mix of features from both Norway, Sweden and I think Denmark

The length is perfect, in my opinion. This is not the type of model that you wrap a 40+ hour experience in. It would be exhausting and detract from everything that the narrative builds up. Games don't have to be super long to automatically = a better experience. That narrative is tired and old.

I love games that pull from folklore - I wish more games did, there's a lot to dig into! I also find it amusing that Japanese folklore is usually the bat-shit standard but some western cultures have some absolutely insane stuff knocking around, it's absolutely fascinating stuff to read. Where in the game synopsis does it say this is a horror game that is meant to terrify? It is described as "grim" and "twisted". I don't know how you made the leap to horror and expected such.

The kids are intentionally designed to look like cherubs... they're not bad character models at all?

Would've preferred if you played as Ollie, so you'd radically skate around the forest and style over the monsters
