BS. American companies can leave China any time like they recently left Russia. Just ask Nike, McDonalds, Apple, or Starbucks whether they want to leave China.

Respectfully, Americans want US companies to come back to America.
This may sound funny but many of us Americans are beginning to wake up after watching everything going on in the world and are becoming more educated on how dependent we are and have become dependent on. China and as consumers we are starting to reject items made in China.
This is not a race issue it’s a national security issue. Look where we are now? And why?
Because China can perform at lower costs and shall we include their slave labor?
Not good. All this is due to greed for the almighty dollar. These American companies have prospered way beyond measure at the hand of the American people not including the threat of our own US diminishing economy. This has to stop.
We are demanding US Congress to make changes. Our country is now in a very bad predicament because of our shameful dependency on goods that American yes American companies have put in China!
American people are strong and if we have to suffer in goods imported from China in order to preserve our economic superiority and wealth then we will. We need American companies that care about the American people and our country’s preservation.

Regarding market access, Chinese companies cannot access US market freely. Huawei was banned, many companies were blacklisted, why should China let US companies have free access to Chinese market? My wife used to buy Apple products, but I told her not to. So we bought Huawei phones, Lenovo laptops, German cars, Fila clothes(instead of Nike). American companies, like their politicians are quite arrogant. Most Chinese have been fed up.

How can US companies operating in China expect fair open level playing field treatment when the US is taking a very hostile approach to Huawei, TikTok, ….. etc. And imposing tariffs, semiconductor restrictions etc.
