Markets sink as Trump presses US companies to leave China

US President Donald Trump is raising tariffs on Chinese imports by an additional five percent. The latest escalation in the trade war comes hours after Beijing announced it will impose tariffs on $75bn worth of American goods.
Trump says he has "hereby ordered" American companies to leave China, but he has no authority to do so.

China's government continues to exert its sphere of influence. Good for them. Not so good for any that may dislike such.
Devaluing its own currency by more than 12% and stopping most agricultural imports from the US, to offset negotiations of trade imbalance with US was a good "check" move. Seemingly inflation and starvation may eventually show up.
Perhaps better not to mention such as Hong Kong is now experiencing what Tiananmen Square may have back then?
btw military exercises by such are now ever more frequent off the coast of Taiwan.
