Please explain total cost including design and research, upkeep costs versus electrical output over the anticipated life of a wind farm. Don’t forget transmission costs and the inconvenient truth that when the wind is not blowing, traditional methods of electrical production must be built and kept operating. What are the results: manufacturers of wind farm equipment make money and electrical costs are high. But, of course, grandma has to limit her electrical use, the rest of us get to pat ourselves on the back for how cool we think we are.

My argument is that we should stop using so much energy including investing fossil fuels in so called renewable energy. Do we really need this shit? No! Simplicity is our only solution.
