Brian Cox: Is There Alien Life in The Solar System?

Professor Brian Cox thinks it's a likely possibility there is alien life in our solar system. For example, Jupiter's moon Europa. Beneath it's icy shell there could be microbial life if not multi cellular life forms. Other worlds in the solar system that could host alien life are The moons of Saturn Titan and Enceladus. Besides Earth, among the planets in the solar system that could be harboring alien microbial life is the red planet Mars. Billions of years ago Mars was much closer to Earth than it is today. The only way to find out whether we are alone in the solar system and beyond is to start exploring space.

I hope they will confirm at least microbial life somewhere in our solar system before I die. 🇮🇹

When you consider just how unlikely it was that life occured here on Earth, and the fact that we have THRIVED and covered the entire planet with living beings, there must be life elsewhere. The belief that we are the only planet in the universe with life is beyond egocentric.

I wonder what kind of fish lives in the oceans of Titan! A stinky methane fish. 😂

👍Interesting report-thanks! Makes me want to watch Europa Report and Apollo 18 again. In fact, I think I'll do just that😃🚀.

I’m excited for us to hopefully find life and demonstrate abiogenesis within my lifetime!!!

I don’t know if there still is but I wouldn’t be shocked to soon find the remnants of microbial life on Mars.

We seriously need to figure out a way to go and check. I'm so impatient, I need to know!! Those moons sound very promising

Creo que la vida es la mas común en el universo solo basta ver la diversidad que hay en la tierra, ahora que si es similar y use la misma forma de construirse a la nuestra, no lo se.

It is statiscally impossible that there isn't alien life in the universe, looking at the sheer number of galaxies and stars. Whether mankind encouters it one day, is another question.

Damn, I really REALLY hope we send people to Mars in my lifetime. I'm 37 now, so I think there's a good chance I'll see it!

I always laugh when people say Aliens would only come here and kill us, are we looking for them just to kill them?

There is bound to be equipment able to drill 100 kms through ice although many complications exists- not entirely impossible

Put the radioactive power source at the front of the lander, and it can use the ice to cool the device as it melts it's way through the ice

Europa has the most promise in my opinion, just got to find a way to get through that ice sheet to see what’s down there.

The universe is so big there is no way we are the only intelligent life. What a waste of beauty if it is so.

There's life in the solar system, not only on earth. Much more than we can imagine now

If I could stand on a planet and throw an ewok into a lake of fart, that'd be...

The rapid expansion of the universe seems to make it less likely everyday that we will physically be able to meet another civilization unless they dwell within our local group of galaxies, like Andromeda. I hope there is life out there, the thought of us being the only life in the universe is immeasurably haunting to me.
