I think that they didn't advertised it too much. At the same time they probably didn't wanted because I guess that they would prefer to havedevelopers making native UWP apps rather than android ecosystem.

Emulation proved winner here. Unlike WSL which has a lot of value over a linux VM. Microsoft did not offer anything of value over Emulation, it is anshame, they could have made a GREAT product if properly made

Well if they made a new windows phone with this kind of tech it would have been much more popular... Imagine a phone that can run both PC software and mobile apps.

The app support extended to apk support you could install anything you wanted to that normally only can run on Android

Meanwhile we can run native Android apps with hardware acceleration using waydroid on Linux. Another reason to switch to linux

Linux has native support for running android apps without a VM, unlike Windows.

Through waydroid.

Now for something technical:

On windows, if you enable WSA or WSL2, it converts your windows installation into a VM that runs side to side to wsl and wsa on the Hyper-V Tier 1 Hypervisor, which effectively runs on bare metal. But there is still quite a performance drop!

I'm in India, there were a lotta people hyped for this . Not anymore because 1) it's usa only 2) it doesn't even have most local apps we need

So what's the use?
