How to Create a Sticker Outline in Procreate: Procreate Tutorial

In this highly requested Procreate tutorial, I show you the best way to create a sticker outline using procreate. Although there are many ways to add a white outline border to your sticker designs, I've found that this is the best way to create a smooth outline when creating stickers or SVGs for a Cricut (or other cutting) machine.

If you have sharp corners in your drawing and they aren’t fitting to the into the white of the finished product and or are experiencing a weird white fade from the Gaussian blur, TURN THE GAUSSIAN BLUR DOWN! you only need about 5% Gaussian blur. They use almost 30%, that’s quite a lot and I found I didn’t need that much. When u use 5% you will find that not only are the white fitting to the points of your drawing but are also not giving you that weird white fade near the edges of the white!

Why do we have to outline it again if we can just use the same brush to paint it and do it once. Instead of the blur tool and alpha locks etc.

I appreciate this video as it is well paced and easy to understand. I do have a question, though. Everything works perfectly for me up to the invert point. When I go to fill later after that, it fills the page. It isn’t broken lines. Could it be that I’m trying to do a full sheet of stickers at one time rather than just one?

I mean, you can just add a separate layer, use the brush and outline the design and fill it with white. This process is pointless if you have to use the brush anyway.
