I'm using dremel to cut a groove to the stripped screw and use a flat screwdriver to loosen it.

An added advice: To prevent any marks on the guitar, take some masking tape around the screw and then use the plier:-)

What about countersunk screws? You can remove the others with a pair of pliers or similar tool.

probably is better masking the flat surfice under the screw...

in that case would be nicer if you put some masking tape around it and then change the damn screw :)
