There are three Reclaimed in a Refined- The only way to really divide 1 into thirds is by removing 0.01 from it. Hence the "1.66" or "4.11"

Refined Metal, which is the highest quality of metal. It is only ever used in trading when big-ticket items, such as keys, unusals, and sometimes buds are being sold. However, some items, like the Golden Wrench and the Saxxy, have no price because of their extreme rarity, and they aren't tradable to begin with. Ref is the most common currency when purchasing keys, and is useful for hat trading.

You can't find Vintage items anymore. They were in the beginning of the game and you would get them for crafting (I think) but you can no longer find them. The only other way to get them is to trade for them. To get Strange Weapons, you need to open a Crate. To get a Key, you have to buy it with real money or trade for it. (Keys go for like 2.44-2.55 refined metal) The other way is to trade for it.

well the special thing about them is that they have a music effect you can see small musical notes coming out from the ears and they are not unusual but with effects :)

a key is worth about 2.66 to 3 refined depends on the buyer/seller, a bud is worth something like 26 keys they are used as a higher method of selling so instead of saying like 40 refined they say like 8 keys

Promotional items released for when TF2 was released on the Mac. Buds cost around 27 keys, and they're mostly used to buy Unusual hats.

Because it takes 3 metal to craft the next one. So to make it easier to understand it's a .33 for 1 reclaimed. But .99 = 1.00.

a ref is made from rec(3 rec=1 ref) which is made from scrap(3 scrap=1 rec) which is made from crafted weapons(2 weapons=1 scrap) so 18 weapons=1 refined. A bud is a promotional item from when mac was released on steam, it was given to all people who launched mac during the promotional time frame. They are worth upwards of 25$. Hope i helped :D

Use a price checker, you should get around 1.55ish for both together in refined metal.

go to steam the at the top left corner will be the word steam click on it then go to setting then there should be a bar called "Manage Steam Guard Account Security" click on it then set up your stuff that need to be set up by your view. And if the bar is not there then you click on the tab "Downloads" then where it says download region click on where it is now and put it where you live for example if it is on "Australia - NSW (internode)" you put it on "Australia - NSW (Telstra). 1.66 METAL. Usually it means refined. There are 3 ranks of metals, Scrap (2 weapons equippable by the same class), Reclaimed (3 Scrap) and Refined (3 Reclaimed). 1.66 refined is 1 refined and 2 reclaimed. Uncraftable hats have the tag below them, "(Not usable in crafting)", and are worth less than hats without those tags.

The unusual team captain is 451 buds but other unusuals are about 1-4 buds.

dirty items are marked with (not usable in crafting) and are often store bought items, valve made store bought items dirty to keep the tf2 economy in check because if everyone could buy clean hats then they wouldn't be worth as much, so dirty basically has a lower price and losses its value faster.
