I just downloaded TF2 today and THIS is the tutorial I needed! I can find class beginner tutorials everywhere (not to mention the FOV settings), but I really appreciate your focus on the servers, HUD and small details. Subscribing!

I, for one, love devolper console. Great video tho, never was big brain enough to alter stuff and always played vanilla setup

I've been reading the comics and watching the videos for a month or two now and since I'm able to play the game now, I'm here, I'm probably gonna be awful at it but I'll try lol

Also another tip, you can use viewmodel_fov (number) in dev console to change your viewmodel fov

thanks for this video! i recently got into tf2 for a month or two (not really its like an off and on thing throughout the years) but i really want to play the game! i dont have my own computer but i get excited of the thought of getting tf2 and playing it despite me not really being good at fps games but i do really wanna try this game out in the future! i love the silly compilations of teh community doing silly things but im scared of what they’ll think of me as a newbie haha;; but this video will be really helpful for me in the future !

edit 17/6/2024: i got my own computer on my birthday! i’ve gotten tf2 and been trying to play tf2 !! for the first 9 hours i’ve been playing with the tutorial bots cause i was really scared to play online;;; but one day i mustered up the courage to play online and my first ever match was filled with sniper bots and they vote kicked me out, , which made me laugh at first but it really did discouraged me at the time;;; i played another matches and though im really bad at it i still have some fun! i saw some cool (hopefully) real players and cool fun interactions!! i currently have almost 2 hours maining pyro and few minutes in engineer (i switched to pyro quickly cause i got overwhelmed and scared haha). my dream is to learn to main engineer, sniper and pyro! what motivates me to continue playing is that practicing makes perfect and the fact that long time-fans really appreciate newbies like me to play the game! its really encouraging to me for some reason, , , i like getting the achievements too! anyways, , , i hope on getting better at the game, wish me luck! :D (sorry for yapping, , )
