Hot take. Youtube Premium is the best deal in streaming, especially now if there are more ads. The included YT music with it is a great bundle.

As subscriber the answer is NETFLIX • Reliable Streaming ▪ Variety Adult Content ▪ Selected Atmos Sound ▪Access to any device on the go ▪ For me all this is added value - no quible, simple as that.

Depending on your usage of a particular streaming service, buying an annual plan may or may not save you money. For example, buying an annual plan is like getting 2 months free over the same period of time if you paid monthly. But if you could get by with subscribing to that same service for say, only 6 months out of the year, you're saving money by paying for it monthly and canceling it during the time period that you wouldn't be watching it anyway.

Anyway, I'll take the ad tier for a lot of these services because I use PlayOn to record shows from them, then re-play the shows using PlayOn's ad skip function. Win-win for me!

Every streaming service I pay for that has separate ad/ad-free options, I pay the extra cost to be ad free. I hate ads. I pay for ad-free on Peacock and Discovery+. Verizon pays for my Disney bundle, but I pay the extra cost to have Hulu be ad free. Whenever I watch a YouTube video when I am not logged into my account, I remember how much I hate ads.

For me a DEAL comes with quality and not just "saving money" for shows that me or my family aren't going to watch or like, so is a "false saving".

I'd like to see a video on free ad supported streaming services :).

companies actually make more money on the add supported services
, that is why they are introducing them.

If they think they’re forcing me to watch their ads, they have another thing coming. When an ad starts, I just pick up my phone or iPad

I pay for a couple services and get a couple from my cell provider and I'm good. The ones from my cell company are free for a year so I make sure when they want a card on file I use one that will expire before the year is over.

Consolidate consolidate consolidate. We all have different tastes and we all have limited time. You don't NEED every service. I'll go all in on the most premium versions for one or two services then get a free trial for a specific show if I need to.

I refuse to watch ads if I'm paying, I'm just going to pirate again lol

I cancelled my hbo max after the price hike so they could make crap shows like Velma. I dont mind the amazon price hike as much because its main use is to save me money on shipping.

Disney waiting it out... I like to call that the apple'ing way of business... just like apple let someone else figure it out first and see how it does before WE do it.

I never subscribed to cable TV services because I hated commercials and I just preferred to read over dealing with commercials. I was happy to pay for Netflix because it was $7 per month; no commercials, lots of good content. That has changed. I'm starting to see all streaming services in the same light as cable tv. The new programming on Netflix is mostly crap; political advocacy over entertainment. I'm considering disconnecting from all streaming services entirely.
