I worked at a grocery store for 10 years. In my time there, the cereal boxes kept getting thinner and thinner, to the point they won’t stand up on their own anymore, and we have to prop them against each other. I assume in a few years, cereal will come in a manilla envelope.

I'm a store manager of a high sales retail store. It always hurts when training new employees and they get confused when comparing the product in their hand to our shelf labels from time to time. Last week I had one new guy come up to me confused asking where the 6oz fruit punch juice goes, I looked at the upc and confirmed to him that it goes on the section that has 10oz juices. They legit just removed 4oz (almost half) of the drink yet kept the price the same. Scummy.

The McDonald’s one is just employee error. As a McDonald’s employee, no one is telling us to not fill them up fully. We’re in such a rush it’s easier to fill them up all the way. They probably just ran out of fries and didn’t want to wait for another batch
