Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. it holds 2.5 times the mass of all the other planets in our solar system combined⁠. Because it is so massive and mostly made up of hydrogen and helium many consider it to be a failed star but that isnt true at all. to be considered a failed star jupiter would need to be or 13 times more massive than it is and about 75 times heavier to be considered a true star
