FOB: 'Weather Stone' | Afghanistan Map in DCS \step by step

This is one of my videos in the "MY WORLD" series where I take you step by step of creating this FOB. I am not an expert on FOB, have no military experience......but I love creating bases in DCS that makes my world come alive. I did this base but I uploaded this with copyright music...my bad...but I am hoping it passes their security checks.

Awesome job. Love the music. Being also 50 and a Veteran Air Force and Army this music hits home. I am in the AFG map. Trying to recreate Cop Kahler Op topside and Battle of Wanat 13 July 2008. I am struggling with the elevation at this. UTM":"42S 673962.31131362 3880528.63262518". This portion of the map is undeveloped. Similar but undeveloped. Do you have pointers on dealing with uneven elevations?

That was the best FOB I have seen. After twenty plus years in the Army I had my share of staying at a FOB. Are you plan to share your FOB with the DCS community it would be nice. De Oppresso Liber

a lot of effort thanks for sharing I just hope one day mission editor will be more efficient and we can design such stuff quicker it is ridiculous putting every thing one by one

Thanks for this creative approach. I’ve served during a couple of tours in AFG and I can tell you, there is nothing like a “false” approach to set up FOBs. We have seen some poor Americans in FOBs, where the main wall was made up of barbed wire only and sometimes we have even seen fake hescos. It’s basically what you got available. I think one of the big misconceptions is that FOBs are this highly defended and build out structure. I love your FOB design though and am inspired how to use the assets available in dcs. Thank you!

Can you auto select the entire base, then hit "hide unit"?
