57 mins and another great video. Any chance you can do a video on modified Saab 9-3s? I’d love to watch that. Thanks again JB

Before watching the full video but for me I'd go for the 3rd gen TT RS especially recently seeing them for 30k when they were 40k+ just last year. Getting something which can hit 60 in 3.6 secs

I can’t be the only one that jumps straight onto Autotrader after watching your videos…

Considering the other somewhat similar videos you have/haven't done, I reckon a Toyota list could be interesting.

Favourite Audi: RS2, but those old Quattros are close behind.

Got a new pair of shoes on the Pug now and the grip isn't far off the Cayman, although I suspect the oversteer might be a little tamer now, which is a shame. Still a little more work though, mainly finding out if the decat is legal or not! If not, shopping for the next car might be sooner than I thought, but no Audis I suspect - they don't do radar cruise, a nice interior and tolerable economy in one package it seems 🤔

C6 RS6 for me. Biturbo V10 loveliness and few reliability issues if well looked after.

Audis make me nervous. My old 1995 A4 was riddled with design problems. My 2009 TT unbelievably had some of the same issues, with dodgy windows, dodgy rubbers etc. But worse than that, the TT burned 1 litre of oil every 220 miles. It turned out to be a known design fault which couldn't be permanently fixed. Even the courtesy light had a design fault. Not good and I doubt I will ever buy another one.

Anyone know what wheels are on the white Audi R8 at 1:47 ?

I would consider getting them for mine at the right price.

I do love Audi...I've been fortunate enough to own a few over the last 20 years...my first was an Audi RS4 saloon...and to this day I think this will always be my favourite but I've also owned a Q3 Tdi Quattro S-line, an RSQ3 and an RS6 Avant.
All of them have been great in their own way...but it's the solidity of an Audi that has always impressed me.
You know you are getting total quality and reliability when you buy one.

2009 b8 Audi a4 tdi 170 monza silver (£550 option) got it for £2450 with my previous car traded in.
Albeit if it was the tdi 140 wouldn't have interested me at all.

Thanks JB, another great vid. In my opinion the only Audi there that looks expensive is the R8! To the untrained eye, they are just a little Audi sports car or just another Audi estate or saloon. This is why I chose my S5 convertible! to everybody else, its just another like to fly a little under the radar...All the

I nearly bought a Quatro back in the 80's but some nasty person pinched it from the garage forecourt the night before I was due to go get it, I would say that my current favourite Audi was probably the RS3

The R8 and TT variants are definitely future classics, beautiful machines with so much character. The problem with the RS3 is the market that they attract, I considered a few but quickly noticed they were nearly all tuned to the hilt and the ones with more than a few owners looked well abused and quickly passed on. Thirty somethings seem to be the ones I see driving these, I'm stereotyping but most seem to be the equivalent of the 80's yuppie. Obviously biased, but I still can't see past the RS6 C7.5 as the pick of the RS lineup. After a few months hunting I picked a low mileage one of these up a month ago and still pinching myself when I look out and see it sitting on my street! Very similar to the one @7:19 except it has the silver leather interior and one of the previous owners spent a small fortune putting a full stage 2 JSTuning pack, Vossen 21"s and full front end PPF on it. It returned a fraction under 30mpg on the journey back up from London, 470 miles in soaking wet stormy weather but loved every minute of it. Already had to put 2 new HPFP's on and do an oil change as it had a few hard starts and fuel mixing with the oil but it's now running perfect and the HPFP's were something I would've done anyway given that they are notorious for giving out on these. After having had various full fat BMW M cars for the past 8 years or so I grew out of the tail happy stuff and decided to act a bit closer to my age lol

Another great video, JB. The gen 1 R8 is one of the prettiest cars Audi ever produced, just after the MK2 TT.
