Delphi Drama as Judge Denies Requests

Judge Fran Gull has responded to Richard Allen's Petition for a Writ of Mandamus; today was the deadline and despite being unwell, she has managed to respond, as per the Indiana Supreme Court's instruction.

CASE BACKGROUND: Richard M. Allen, 50, was arrested on October 28th, 2022 and charged with 2 counts of murder in the Delphi case. Abby Williams and Libby German were murdered on February 13th, 2017, and were last seen on the Monon High Bridge. Their bodies were discovered the following day on Ron Logan's private property.

Gull speaks about both attorneys as if they both committed the carelessness.
In fact, only one did. She wants them both off the case for other reasons.
Her arguments are not persuasive in my opinion.
In any case, she did not follow the law concerning the disqualification of attorneys or for the appointment of new attorneys.
She appointed two new lawyers that are very friendly to her and the prosecution.
RA has an absolute right to a speedy trial. Gull is stripping him of this Constitutional right as well.

Not only did Rozzi not formally withdraw, but he entered his appearance as Richard Allen’s counsel _pro bono._ Which means he’s no longer Allen’s appointed counsel, but his _private_ counsel. By denying Richard Allen’s request to keep Rozzi on, she is clearly violating his 6th Amendment.

This entire situation stinks .. the judge basically ambushed the defense lawyers and then threatened them with humiliation.

This whole court case needs a re-do- from the beginning. How else are they going to sort out this mess!!! So much has been done incorrectly - this has to be one of the craziest things I’ve seen. Justice for Abby and Libby!!!

I believe both examples of gross negligence can be found in Indiana case law without the attorneys in question being removed.

Judge has lost confidence in the defense attorneys, and the public is losing faith in Judge Gull, and Richard Allen’s health is seriously declining as he is caught in the crossfire (guilty or not). And we haven’t even got into the complex facts of the case itself!

The gag-order was issued in response to the press release, Baldwin & Rozzi didn’t violate the gag-order order at that time because the press release was before it existed. Everything else spot on, great video! Thx G

He should be treated better, he’s not been to trial yet!! Idk if he’s guilty or not but if I ever get arrested I hope I don’t get held in prison 😱
