Thank you! We have had this same unit and for close to 15yrs! It has worked wonderfully until about 6months ago. I thought I would have to replace the whole thing, but your video fixed our issue. Holy crap, I’m trying to do research on buying these guys and have been interested in how strong the water pressure is and I’ve watched about 20 videos on RO water storage tanks and this is the ONLY ONE that shows how strong it is once it’s re-pressurized. Most videos are just like “trust us, it works.”

So thank you for showing the entire process, this is exactly what I needed. I watched the ads all the way through without skipping so I hope that helps with some ad revenue!

I have the same problem with WHAROS5. It starts leaking after installed 24 hours and flood the basement. Then, I found the NOTE on the manual Page 20 right corner: "As with all other water system applications, leaks may occur. Because the system pressure builds slowly, leaks may not be immediately apparent. Recheck for leaks 24 hours after purging the system is completed". Guess I have to check the leaking every 2 hours for the rest of my life. Nice job Whirlpool!

My Amtrol RO4 just failed after 19 years. Poor pressure at the faucet led to me determining water leaking from the schraeder valve while trying to take pressure readings. The water leaking from the schaeder valve is due to a ruptured internal rubber bladder which, in a properly functioning tank, separates the water at the top of the tank from the pressurized air chamber at the bottom of the tank (where the schraeder valve is).
