WiFi repeater setup on mobile

A friend of mine had problem with WiFi range at home so she decided to get a cheap repeater to extend the range of her WiFi router. Unfortunately, this WiFi repeater is a typical no name so let's just call it The Repeater. All the details of the repeater and first test setup in the video.

I wasn't automatically directed to that browser page shown at 3:34 - So I typed in the IP address shown in the video 192.168.10.1/index.htm and it got me straight through. It's worth pointing that bit out as some people may not get automatically routed to that repeater login page.

What do you do if it doesn't help you set it up, but takes you to a menu screen for various things. Im not sure what to do after that.

Can somebody tell me if I need to plug my repeater to my computer with a wire, of if I have to plug it to something else (a router for example....) or if I don't have to plug it at all, and leave it the way it is in the outlet. Yes I'm confused!!! Thanks!!!

Thanks for the info, but you could definitely shave the length down of this video. The first 3 minutes are not really necessary.

Can we disable DHCP from this Repeater ? sometime my laptop got IP from main router, sometime got different IP from this Repeater (sometimes make internet disconnected)
