how do I reset the password, i cannot remember it and need to connect another laptop.. I reset the repeater but nothing changed

The instructions were unreadable without a microscope. Ah. Drat. Now I get 7mps when phone is connected to the repeater. Before I got 80mps connected to router. No difference if I am right next to repeater or if I am connected through VPN. Must be over looking something. I see many non-experienced people comments. I also thought it was all plug and play.
