omnicc IS built into the game, i feel like it's been there for a long time, but i can't remember when exactly.

I deleted my damage meter at the beginning of BFA. Absolutely changed the game for the better. Instead of wasting every moment obsessing over what are essentially meaningless numbers, I started enjoying the game again. Any stress or performance anxiety instantly vanished. The pressure to be at the "top" of the charts became meaningless. It made "gearing up" more about feeling rather than unnoticeable statistics. You realize the #1 DPS and the #3 DPS have the exact same experience in a dungeon. They both go through it, kill all the same mobs, down the same bosses, and share the same loot. The only people that can even complain about it are the ones that are still slaves to the meters and their arbitrary numbers. I know, some people live for the numbers, but I'd rather have a fun night of WoW rather than a stressful one.

For my entire playtime of wow all these years. Even if im much more of a casual player.
I have never used addons. The only time i ever did was some very minor addons back in Legion when a friend had it installed for me.

And i have to say. So many addons seem like its either unessecary. Or it makes the game into a "numbers numbers" game.
Playing without the dps meter is the best thing one can do. You cant have fun and enjoy the game if it becomes nothing but a numbers game.

And addons to show cooldowns i never understood can litterally see it on the actionbar.

The only one i felt was very useful and actually added to the experience was a addon that showed what rotation to use. It helped me learn my classes and how to play it.

Blizzard added in OmniCC like three or four expansions ago. no need to use that add-on any more. It is under Action Bars Show Numbers for Cooldowns.

I don't want blizzard to remove the sounds from DBM as many use it because they don't have the best vision. It would be nice if the DBM folks put a silent mode check box on the first page to make it easy for people though.

Hey! OmniCC's functionality is in the game by default btw, has been for a long time :) Can be missed I suppose, in the long list of options now XD Great list otherwise! Also Bigwigs is naturally a little less "in your face" than DBM!

The little tracker of your small cooldown like Immolations Aura and Metamorphosis that you have on the right side that are different colors, is that a part of the weak aura or is it a separate one ? It look super clean and i could use something like that on my UI
