👉 Learn how to prove that two triangles are congruent. Two or more triangles are said to be congruent if they have the same shape and size. There are many postulates and theorems to determine whether two triangles are congruent.

They include Side Side Side (SSS): If the three sides of both triangles are congruent then both triangles are congruent.
Side Angle Side (SAS): If two sides and the included angle of both triangles are congruent then both triangles are congruent.
Angle Side Angle (ASA): If two angles of a triangle and the included side are congruent, then both triangles are congruent.
Hypothenuse Leg (HL): If the hypothenuse and a corresponding leg of two right triangles are congruent, then both triangles are congruent.

To prove that two triangles are congruent, we develop a two-column proof starting with the given information and using theorems, postulates, and properties, we can prove that the triangles satisfy any of the given theorems and postulates above.
