I lost my mom a few years back, and I can tell you right now that I don’t know exactly what you’re going through—no one can. This is your journey, and it’s as unique as you are.

The pain you feel will never truly go away. You’ve lost a part of your life, and that can never change.

Some days will feel like you’ve got this; some days you’ll feel like you don’t. But as each day passes, you’ll get better, and you’ll learn to live with this big change in your life. Stay strong, and remember that no matter how alone you ever feel, you are never alone. It’s okay to feel sad, it’s okay to cry, and it’s okay to share your feelings with others.
