Growing up I always wanted Cena to turn heel, to create those great storylines.. But if these were the storylines they ultimately wanted, they're far worthy of anything I imagined, and I'm glad he stayed face of the company during his time. Great video, very touching!

When I was 26, I developed pre-diabetes and got really sick due to it going untreated for a while, to the point where I’d get home from work and sleep 14 hours cause at least then I wouldn’t hurt. Anytime anything even remotely strange happened I got anxiety. I was a wreck, physically and mentally.
When I was recovering, I almost exclusively wore John Cena merchandise because anytime I felt sick I looked at myself in the mirror and saw “Never Give Up” and it gave me the motivation to keep moving forward and get back up anytime I had trouble exercising or sticking to my diet plan. Anytime I felt like I couldn’t take the pain, I thought about Cena. I thought about how it would only be temporary and soon I’d be back to normal.
Thank you John. I know you’re never gonna see this, but in the off chance you do, thank you.
