This is a load of bs. Anything they don't want to hear will be labeled as misinformation. What a joke.

It's the right legal decision. The media is doing a terrible job of explaining what is going on, as evidenced by all these comments. The Court did *NOT* say that the government's actions are constitutional. The Court did *NOT* say the government's actions are unconstitutional either.

The Court cannot hear the case because the plaintiffs lack standing to bring it. Since the media hasn't explained to you what that means I will: Simplified, it means the plaintiffs are not actually harmed by the defendant's conduct (or more exactly, they haven't been able to show that they are harmed). Courts are not there to just sit around all day and decide what they think is best for the country. I know that's what people think they do, but it's not. That's not their job. Their job is to resolve specific disputes, called cases, between parties. In civil law, this is when a party has been _injured_ . Hence the concept of "standing." You must be able to show that the defendant's actions harm YOU -- not the country, not someone else, you. Otherwise you lack standing and can't bring the case.

For example, if I see a government official blatantly violate someone's constitutional rights and throw them in prison without charges or trial, can I sue the government for that blatant, indisputable, constitutional violation to let that person out? The answer is *No.* I cannot. I know a lot of people will think, "The government is breaking the law blatantly, of course you can!" But no, you can't. Because I am not the one harmed. I do not have standing. I can't do anything about it. The proper person to sue would be the person thrown in prison, and via habeas corpus.

The Court is not the place for "Oh, I think this action by the Biden administration is really bad so I'm going to go ask the Supreme Court to do something about it." No. That's not what courts do. You might be right about the Biden administration doing something wrong, but until there's an actual legitimate legal case it can't go to the court.

Junk decision. Lacking standing is a lame excuse.
