You should try this again with a 7800x3d or a 14900k

I always choose air coolers, less problems, regards from Mexico.

Not featuring the Thermalright Peerless Assassin is wild considering its only like 30-40 bucks, and is comparable to some liquid coolers and top of the line Noctua's

Depending upon your cpu, a air cooler might good enough but for higher end CPUs like the i9s or ryzen 9s it is a good choice to liquid cool them. I think in this video the overall best cooler he mentioned is the 4th cooler, the deepcool gamaax 240.

Deepcool products are great. They are built well, last quite sometime and are reliable. They are very cheap in my country, like now and then many items are sold out.

I would try out the liquid arctic freezer 3 or the ekwb 360mm aio

Thermalright Phantom Spirit(Flat Top), Artic Freezer III 360mm and 420 should have been referenced.

The 30 dollar one has the best value. Amazing difference of 20 degrees

Best thing about an air cooler is it will likely never fail after a long ass time and can be used on numerous builds

Probably the nzxt for the warranty and easy drivers and capabaility to use all my fans with one program rather than 3/4

I’d do the Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE (ARGB or non-RGB, I’d probably go with non) with 5 heat pipes, costs like $20 and seems really good

seems like the $30 air cooler is the clear value winner, however i wonder how this would compare on a more high-powered CPU like a 14900k for example.

a test like this makes anything above $100 seem really stupid, however anything more than the $30 air cooler with a 5600x is complete overkill and probably won’t make much difference, the PC probably notices the temps and makes the high end coolers run low the whole time, but i bet the higher-end coolers would make more a difference on a CPU that would need more cooling

Ok listen up.
I got an old aio from a prebuilt.
I bought a new pump a second radiator some small rubber pipes you see in pools and fish tanks and some distilled water.
Cost maybe 60 bucks.
I have a custom water loop with 2 radiators and all the pipes are held together with crymps and flex seal. It doesn’t leak and it keeps my cpu nice a cool.
So it don’t take nothing expensive. It looks ghetto but it works

Tbh around $30 the thermalright Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit does the job better imo and I'd choose that again because the temp difference isn't a lot

As long as it stays under 60, I’m considering it more than good enough.

The reason the 360 did worse then the 240 is that it generally runs way quiter as the 3 fans dont need to spin very fast if its not getting hot either way
