Quite frankly, this is one of the best, plain language, and pragmatic Youtube presentations I have ever seen.

One correction: remember, that the fuel intake line comes long enough to reach the bottom of pretty much any fuel tank. So it's during the installation process that the decision has to be made, how far from the bottom of the tank it will reach, to avoid depleting the tank entirely. You just cut off the access. In that sense it's not a product feature in itself, but a conscious installation choice. It's a common practice, still, if you let someone install it for you, make sure to discuss that ;)

Thanks for the review!

Hey Rolling Earth-Ship (Luis)!!! That Webasto heater is another item that I will need to get more information about. I appreciate you letting us know about it. Yep;[9:12] if you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself. Stay warm, continue to be safe and careful out there and Thank you for sharing. 😎

Thank you for making this video.
I think I'm going to replace my propane furnace with this.

I remember when you did that. Glad it still works great.

What did you use to seal the floor of the van so no water got into your subfloor? Looks metallic! Thanks for the video my friend!

I installed a Chinese unit in October of 2018. I have been using it without issue. The longest I have run it so far at one time is 7.5 hours. The battery was not affected and the van started right up. These things are awesome. All I need to do is insulate my van a bit to try and hold in the warm air. A project for this summer.

Thanks for the info. Not much videos that talk about the webasto. Love the idea that you don't have to deal with an extra fuel tank. I plan living in a minivan in Montreal Canada. Gets very cold in winter. Do you think a 2 kw motor is effective?

Thank’s excellent because heaters go through propane more rapidly than that.

Good idea having the exhaust on the driver's side - for parking on the road where there's a sidewalk.

Thanks for sharing, I’m not 100% sure, but I seen in another video that the muffler has to be mounted with the dip up. Because there is a weep hole on the straight side that is designed to drain moisture. Looks like yours might be upside down.

Thanks

Remember when you added this

Would be interested in under carriage insulation that can be removed .

Is that added “goop” / insulation you added removable if service is required ?

I had to chuckle when I seen you useing the quill pen
I am adding a diesel one in my rv I hv to install my self as my local rv shop would not for all the reasons u said they didn't want drill into the tank , so this old man has to do it my self , no big deal except I'm lazy and hate to get out of my rocking chair , I'm still waiting for it to arrive
You are correct if you want it done right do it yourself
In my van years ago I didn't want to pack a generator so I got a 100 hundred Amp alternator and then put on a 5/8 smaller diameter pulley so at idling speed I was charging at a little over 30 Amps
