I have a Yamaha and really like that it almost feels like playing an acoustic violin. I really like the design, and the sound is pretty good. I only use it occasionally, so I didn't want a really expensive instrument, and it's good enough for everything I want to do.

The good thing about electric instruments is that the tone doesn’t matter, as long as it’s comfortable, tone can be adjusted with effects pedals and eq

the classic way that as a musical instrument gets more expensive, the money starts to mean less and less.
i.e. a 200 dollar violin is a lot different to a 700 dollar violin, but a 1200 dollar violin isn't all that different from a 1700 dollar violin

Can you notice a difference in the width of the neck on a four string vs one with more? While I love my 5 string EUB, the neck is too thick for my liking and I like my 4 string acoustic much better. Do you have a similar issue even though it is on such a smaller scale
