In this video I am showing you how to create a repository in github, clone it to your desktop using git bash, stage the selected files for commit. Commit the files with a commit message and then finally push them to a repository

git bash does support pasting (least for the last 2-3 years) it's shirt-ins or right click and select paste. Just for anyone coming to this now or in the future.

Quick note: Recently Github/Git does not have a default "master" branch. "master" has been changed to "main" branch. So doing "git push -u origin master" will result in an error. BTW nice vid :D

Thank you very much it was very easy to follow but you should have added that for the very 1st time we need to say who we are in the git ....faced a bit problem with that but it was easily resolved.

To paste in gitbash you can use shift+insert.
It works for Command Prompt as well ;)
