Very comprehensive review....take note that there is a companion app which enhances the solo experience....

I own it and it is a great game. Two cons though: the board pieces are floating freely in the box and probably will arrive damaged. And the generic card 'Boldly Go' is overpowered and should not be available for purchase at all times. Just mix a couple of those in the Treasure Deck instead to fix that

This game makes just about no thematic sense. The elimination of the grab the cheapest treasure and rush out strategy makes this one worse actually as it gust goes on too long. The board is just ugly and confusing. Pass.
