Just saw MvM review of this lauding it with praise so wanted to see yours to see what you were thinking also. I'm a huge fan of Renegade Game Studios, but I don't really get the secrecy around this title. Is that something publishers are going to start doing now, Apple the product to build hype? I can see that might be annoying if it's just to hype up what would usually be a regular release. Maybe I'm just butthurt because I was hoping the 'top secret' game release for Gen Con was going to be HeroQuest lol.

As excited I am about this announcement, I was surprised that this review didn't grab me like I was hoping. I will totally reserve judgment until I actually play it, but I was expecting something slightly different. I don't know what I expected, but in my mind, it was just something slightly different given the theme and the modular board. It's still probably great, but I'm not going to hunt this down for full MSRP like I was prepared to do before I watched the review. I don't know what's wrong with me. LOL

It's not that big of a deal it's already that high overall. Like 1/2 the top 60 games game out in the last few years. It's very cult of the new. Part of the problem is BGG didn't' alter how it did stats despite the number of new users growing greatly.

Why was this deemed such a big deal? I mean Clank is great and all but why such mystery for so low a return?

Oh no, should I get this or Quest for El Dorado? I've been wanting the original Clank for a while and this looks even better, but El Dorado looks like it would be easier to teach to new players and therefore would probably get played more often.

The board is so boring. I don't think I could get into the theme of this game. I'm bored looking at it. I'll stick with original clank and hope for more awesome expansions.
