This was a favourite in my house growing up. When you cook these dishes yourself you realise the effort and time it takes in preparing south Asian food. Bless our mums!

My mom was an amazing cook and I’ve been missing her food so much. She used to make the best Aloo Gosht my toungue has ever tasted but she passed suddenly in August 2022. She didn’t leave any recipes behind and unfortunately I never got to learn. I can’t wait to try making this. I can tell u that just from looking at the the viscosity of the curry, and the tenderness of the meat, it seems identical. Thank you so much for this recipe.

Can I just say this is the most clear & precise recipe video I’ve ever come across! Your explanation is so good & the video itself is also clear. You’re also such a likeable person to watch! 😊I will be trying this today and I can’t wait, thanks 😊

Wonderful! If you like it this way. Everyone cooks it differently. Try browning the onions a bit more, preferably red onions instead of white, sear the mutton more that allows the moisture to lock in. Rest as you feel right, personally I would add ginger and garlic before adding the mutton. That is to let the mutton soak in the flavors before it locks after searing. Tomato goes in later as that will slow down the cooking. Try getting "Nutmeg", just smell it and you will know how amazing it will make your dish. Keep more coming! ❤

I made this yesterday. Of all the recipes I’ve tried for lamb and potato curry this is the best. The spices where perfection. Your instructions are beautifully articulated. Your videos are a joy to watch and so far your recipes have never failed me. Why don’t you have your own tv show? 😊. Please keep up this great cooking channel.

This is seriously the best recipe ever. It’s very straightforward. I’m very fussy with food and I can certainly say this was perfect ❤️

Hi there!! Just want to say 1- I'm REALLY looking forward to trying this even more than I was the amazing lamb chop masala, I mean that turned out seriously good!! 2 - wish you Eid Mubarak, doing these last few vids must have been torture with Eid falling so near to the longest day of the year!! Seriously, you have brought Pakistani home-cooked cuisine into the kitchens of hundreds of guys like me who otherwise never would have had a chance to have it so lucidly explained and who obviously couldn't learn in person from a Pakistani lady who wasn't a relative, but you bridged that gap and brought your kitchen onto our screens instead. I am not Muslim but nonetheless my God bless you, my sister, for your service to us, for giving us your culinary genius for free, because this is knowledge I'd have happily paid for if you weren't already so generous with it. Enjoy your big Post-Ramadan Iftar, you have earned it ROYALLY !! :)
