Another annoying part of the final level is the ring counter is always playing warning beeping sounds everytime the Sonics get to 30 to less, it would be better if it beeped if there was like 10 rings left or less.

I still maintain that this is one of the best platformers of all time. There is almost no padding and there is so much variety in terms of extra missions and fun gimmicks, it has great music, and highly replayable stages with fun to collect collectibles and so many branching paths. It even has some of the most fun boss fights ever.

I was thinking...
"This is yet another remake of Green Hill" - It would be weird if it wasn’t in the game.
"Why are all of Sonic's friends here when the point is to celebrate Sonic only?" - so Sonic's friends shouldn’t be in the game, or celebrate with him?
On the part about travelling through time and space: City Escape does take place in the past as you are being chased by a G.U.N truck, so they’re most likely all in their respective time zones.
"The City Escape remixes don't hit the same as the originals." - ...what?!
"It would have been nice to see something from Sonic CD" - you do realise there's the Sonic CD Metal Sonic race, right?
"Sonic games are almost always easy" - No.
"Why can you only have elemental shields in the bonus missions?" - you can unlock and equip them in the skill sets.

I actually disagree on the camera regarding Classic Sonic. I think the dynamic camera shifting was a really cool way to emphasise the fact that despite playing in 2D only, Sonic is indeed inhabiting a 3D world. Back in the MD era when it was pixel art and fully 2D, you just had your imagination to go on.

Actually, you can use the elemental shields outside of bonus levels. The game has a feature where you can give Sonic specific upgrades, with the elemental shields being unlocked for purchase after these missions.

Something that was odd to me when booting the game on the 360 version was that if you play modern Sonic first and you quick step, it doesn’t make the quick step sound. Not sure if the ps3 or pc versions had this.
