Whenever I think of Classic Sonic in Forces, I always think of someone at Sega saying this, “Hey, I’ve got an idea. Since everyone likes the Classic games more than the Modern, let’s just throw Classic Sonic into every Modern game from now on. Because that totally won’t get boring or repetitive and people totally won’t think we’re doing this just for money.”

How Classic Sonic Triggers You:
-His existence
-He's from another dimension instead of timeline.
-His physics
-The stages with the most variety and non-linear paths were given to Classic Sonic.
-Three of his stages have the same name as the area (Green Hill, Chemical Plant, & Death Egg)
-Despite the fact that every Secret & Extra Stage is in 2D, Classic Sonic isn't used in them.
-The remix of "Fist Bump" for Invincibility is very bland.
-Speed Shoes only last for 2 seconds.
-No elemental shields.
-He has the Drop Dash for no reason.
-Two missed stage opportunities with Classic Sonic.
-Stage 3: City - VS. Chaos
-Stage 15: Mystic Jungle - Tag Team Stage with Classic & OC.
-His rank poses are recycles from Generations.
-Not including the final boss, Classic has only 1 boss, against Eggman/Egg Dragoon.
-Classic's Egg Dragoon fight is so bad. He never directly attacks the Egg Dragoon. It makes the Unleashed fight look good, and that used the Werehog.
-Classic's portion of the final boss is a reskin of the Egg Dragoon fight. It just has disappearing platforms. It only takes 6 hits and your done with him.
-Unlike Modern, OC, or both, nothing exciting happens in Classic stages. Not even 1 QTE moment or something like that.
-The Classic music is very bad. I'd even prefer Lost Valley over them. Yes, Lost Valley.
-Classic Sonic underwater can only last for 10 seconds before the countdown appears.
-HIs final stage is an autoscroller.
-He is here for no reason.
