This doesn't work on the pre installed apps, which is what peeps want. Totally useless.

Some apps may be uninstalled but they leave folders in local storage. I've tried holding down to get a delete option but doesn't work. How do I delete folders?

I tried to uninstall the app ''shop amazon'' a couple of times, but the ''uninstall'' does not work on this Fire 8, 10 generation, Amazon is snecky to made it harder to uninstall . I have no problem to uninstall app on the old Fire 7, (5generation). Thanks for trying to help.

So what happens if that don't work. I'm not even getting an option to uninstall. My options are edit home screen and app info.

How about uninstalling the bloatware that comes with the tablet?

It does not work to do that. There are alot of apps we do not want and nothing works to get rid of them.

I have a music app and have downloaded music from the web but it won't allow me to delete music for some reason and it keeps saying "this song can't be deleted". Also when I got to storage it doesn't have a selection for music so I can delete it.
